Ellen Poage is widely recognized as a leading expert in lymphedema management and research. She has published numerous journal articles on the subject, including work for the Oncology Nursing Society and the American Lymphedema Framework Project. In addition to her research, Ellen is an advocate for her patients, working tirelessly to secure compression garment funds locally through Lymphedema Resources, Inc, and lobbying in Washington D.C. for the Lymphedema Treatment Act, a bill aimed at ensuring Medicare funding for compression garments.

Ellen recognizes that a healthy lifestyle, including exercise and diet, is critical to improving patient outcomes. She is committed to improving patients' overall recovery from surgery, particularly as it pertains to the often-overlooked complication of lymphedema resulting from surgery and radiation.
